Nearly six years after unlocking her debut single ‘Beetlejuice,’ singer-songwriter Mariah the Scientist has finally scared up a monster hit on the Billboard Hot 100 with new song ‘Burning Blue.’

To say Scientist is burning up the charts with her hit ‘Burning Blue’ would be an understatement.

Marking a career milestone as her first solo entry overall, the #25 premiere of the the Jetski Purp-produced song not only comes as her first top 40 hit but also the highest debut of any act on the hitlist this week.

Building anticipation for her yet-titled fourth studio album, the follow-up to 2023’s ‘To Be Eaten Alive,’ ‘Blue’ – the set’s first single – performed even better on Billboard’s Hot R&B Songs and R&B Streaming charts respectively (#3 and #1 placements).
