Just a day after finding out her film, ‘Joker: Folie a Deux,’ laughed its way to the top of American box offices, Lady Gaga‘s learned her latest musical body of work inspired by the movie has done the same on a number of Billboard charts.

Gaga’s ‘Harlequin’ debuted at #20 on the refreshed Billboard 200. Here are the numbers that powered the placement.

Lady Gaga’s ‘Harlequin’ 

First-Week Sales (SPS):  25,000 units

Billboard 200 Debut:  #20

Despite slightly falling short of industry analysts’ predictions for its first-week sales, ‘Harlequin’ still managed to be the week’s top-selling new album among women (pure sales).

Among all last week’s new releases, only Billy Strings‘ ‘Highway Prayer‘ sold more (19,000 pure sales).

Debuting as the 11th Billboard 200 top 20 hit of her career, ‘Harlequin’ – the week’s highest-charting new effort overall – also boasts being Gaga’s third #1 hit on Billboard Jazz Albums and Traditional Jazz Albums respectively following the triumphs of ‘Love for Sale’ and ‘Cheek to Cheek.’
