At Target Center in Minneapolis, they lost 124-117 after battling to stay ahead of the Cavaliers for the majority of the evening. In the third quarter, the Cavaliers (35-6) ultimately pulled away and led 89-79 entering the fourth quarter. Then, to take a 20-point lead, Cleveland scored the first 10 points of the fourth.
The Wolves (22–20) never really threatened to upset the Cavaliers on Saturday night, but they did catch fire late to reduce their deficit to as little as five with 12 seconds left.
Anthony Edwards tried but Cavs were too strong

In the process, Edwards surpassed LeBron James and Devin Durant to become the third-youngest player to reach 8,000 career points. In just 344 games, Edwards completed the feat faster than any other player in franchise history.

After exchanging blows during the first twenty-four minutes, the Cavaliers and Wolves were tied at 60-60 at the half.
In addition to dominating the Cavaliers on the glass, Julius Randle finished with 20 points, 14 rebounds, and nine assists, almost completing a triple-double. He shot 7 for 12 from the field during the game, demonstrating his efficiency.
