Caitlin Clark, the star of the Indiana Fever, was in the front row with teammates Aliyah Boston and Lexie Hull on Saturday as the Pacers defeated the visiting New York Knicks in Game 6 to go to the NBA Finals.

After missing the previous week due to a quadriceps injury, Clark couldn’t resist showing her competitive side to Knicks guard Jalen Brunson, who is known for theatrically stroking his own chin to commemorate significant occasions.

Therefore, Clark felt compelled to return the favor when Pacers player Tyrese Haliburton made a crucial 3-pointer during Indiana’s 125-108 victory in Game 6.

The celebration, which usually consists of Brunson extending his thumb, index, and ring fingers to indicate a made 3-pointer, has no clear meaning.

It’s no secret that Clark enjoys talking trash during games. In fact, according to Geno Auriemma, coach of the Connecticut Huskies, WNBA players have physically reacted to Clark’s constant talk.
