Bills Fans Donate $35K To Mark Andrews’ Charity Amid Death Threats Following Rough Game

Buffalo Bills fans showed their support for the Baltimore Ravens’ star Mark Andrews, uniquely. Despite some fans sending death threats to Andrews following his rough game against the Bills, others decided to take a more positive approach.

In a gesture that both slightly trolled Andrews and supported a great cause, Bills fans donated a whopping $35K to the Breakthrough T1D charity. This charity focuses on finding a cure for Type 1 Diabetes and supporting those affected by the disease. Andrews, who himself has Type 1 Diabetes, strongly supports the organization.

The charitable donations come after Andrews had a rough game against the Bills in Sunday’s Divisional Round matchup, dropping two passes—including what would have been a game-tying two-point conversion late in the fourth quarter—and losing a fumble in Baltimore’s 27-25 loss.

Head coach John Harbaugh was quick to defend his star tight end.

“There’s nobody that has more heart, and cares more, and fights more than Mark. We wouldn’t be here without Mark Andrews,” he told reporters. “Mark will handle it fantastic, like he always does, because he’s a high-character person, he’s a tough person and he’s a good person. I’m proud of him just like I am all the guys.”

Despite some fans’ disappointment, many understood the importance of supporting a good cause and rallied behind Andrews by making charitable donations. Their actions not only demonstrate their dedication to the Bills but also their willingness to do something positive during a challenging time.
