Taking to press, Billboard announced the news. They shared that ‘SOS’ earned a massive 111,000 equivalent album units during the last tracking week.

The album sales were comprised of mostly streams as they made up 109,500 of the units. Traditional album sales made up around 1,000 units and the rest came from song sales.

Due to the large sales, ‘SOS’ has now spent a total of seven weeks at #1 on the chart. More impressively, it has not left the #1 spot since it debuted there seven weeks ago.

During that time frame, it has fended off close competition from none other than Taylor Swift‘s blockbuster ‘Midnights’ album.
