Billboard 200: Chris Brown Breaks Michael Jackson & Stevie Wonder’s Top 10 Records with Debut of ’11:11′

Chris Brown defied the odds and industry analysts when his 11th studio album, ‘11:11,’ clocked into the Billboard 200’s top 10 this week despite predictions forecasting the contrary.

Keeping a nearly 20-year charting streak intact that dates back to the arrival of his eponymous debut in 2005, the #9 arrival of the 22-track project means the GRAMMY winner has seen every one of his LPs crack the all-genre tally’s topmost dectet.

As if that’s not enough to celebrate, the unique achievement sees Breezy breeze past some of his idols like Stevie Wonder and Michael Jackson in Billboard history books.

With the addition of ’11:11,’ Brown not only tied R. Kelly for the most Billboard 200 top 10 hits by a Black solo male vocalist this century but also advances on the chart’s all-time count among all male singers.
