Beyonce Scores Her Biggest Solo Debut on Spotify US with ‘Texas Hold ‘Em’

Beyonce is making mighty moves with her foray into Country.

Because just a day after its surprise release, ‘Texas Hold ‘Em’ – one of two songs Queen Bey unleashed upon announcing Act II of her three-part project – has bulldozed a personal streaming record on Spotify.

With its first full day of tracking data tallied, it’s been revealed that ‘Texas Hold ‘Em’ has debuted at #2 on Spotify US.

In the process, it earned Beyonce her biggest solo debut on the platform by way of 2.254 million streams.

Over on the Spotify global chart, the catchy cut premieres at #4 with an impressive 4.299 million streams.

Suffice it to say, this – along with strong performance on both iTunes and Apple Music – bodes all sorts of well for the song’s launch on the Billboard Hot 100.

‘Texas Hold ‘Em’ and companion offering ’16 Carriages’ are both housed on Beyonce’s yet-titled eighth studio album – due via Parkwood/Columbia Records on March 29.
