The numbers are in for Sunday’s telecast and reveal that Music’s Biggest Night was watched by 15.4 million viewers.
It’s of note that the figure does not include streaming and online viewership from Paramount+, CBS.com, and the CBS app.
The sum is down 9% from last year’s GRAMMY Awards, which drew 17.5 million viewers on CBS, per Nielsen Live + Same Day ratings. That ceremony was up 34% on the year before.
Beyond TV, CBS shares that the GRAMMYs 2025 – which saw Beyonce finally take home Album of the Year – was“the most social television program ever” – drumming up 102.2 million interactions online.
The latter is noteworthy as promotion for the show at large was scaled back from the traditional all-out push due to the ceremony’s tonal shift towards fundraising for the LA wildfire relief effort.
$9 million was raised during the telecast, with $15 million being the overall total with the weekend’s activity factored in.
