As the year draws to a close, That Grape Juice is reflecting on the occasions that rocked – and to some degree – maybe even reshaped the Urban and Pop cultural landscape as we know it.

Next, we’ll look back on the year that GloRilla owned.

‘Yeah Glo’ undoubtedly takes on a new meaning for femcee GloRilla when she looks back over 2024.

A year of seemingly non-stop Ws, Glo was easily the year’s top-performing female rapper on many fronts thanks to the successes of her ‘Ehhthang Ehhthang‘ mixtape and her long-awaited debut album ‘Glorious.’

Before the latter opened to the biggest first-week sales of any female Rap project released in 2024, the former effort was catapulted to the upper rankings of the Billboard 200 thanks to hit songs ‘Yeah Glo‘ and ‘Wanna Be’ with Megan Thee Stallion.

Both tunes were milestone Hot 100 top 20 hits for the Memphis-born beauty.
