Chatting it up with resident anchor Hoda Kotb, J.Lo gleamed when talking about her new movie and music.
“I went on an incredible journey through my life for the past 20 years and I think I’ve grown a lot and these albums really are about capturing those moments in time like I captured that moment in time with the ‘This Is Me … Then’ album,” the 53-year-old entertainer said while reflecting on how her love story with Academy Award winner Ben Affleck influenced her upcoming music.
She went on to detail how the project will feature her prized vocals front-and-center.
“It’s just me,” she said in response to inquiries about the LP’s guest stars. “Me and my whole heart and it does capture this moment in time for me when we got back together a couple years ago. It’s a beautiful piece of work I think. I’m very proud of it.”
Originally slated for an early Summer release, Lopez shared the set has been pushed to late Summer/early Fall. At writing, no official release date is tied to the effort.
