Two months after confirming she was bringing her brigade of R&B favorites to NPR’s Tiny Desk, Amerie kept good on her promise by delivering a rousing set of classics and deep cuts found aboard her debut album, ‘All I Have,’ and its critically acclaimed follow-up ‘Touch.’

Backed by Backyard Band, the 2-time GRAMMY winner breezed through expected showings of singles ‘Why Don’t We Fall In Love,’ ‘1 Thing,’ and ‘Talkin to Me’ but left jaws dropped when she launched into revamped versions of ‘Rolling Down My Face,’ ‘I Just Died,’ and other gems from her catalog.
