So, picture this: it’s Caitlin Clark’s 23rd birthday and she’s just minding her own business, thinking it’s going to be a regular day. But little did she know, her team, Indian Fever had a surprise up its sleeves. They showed up during training with cake, balloons, and a full-on birthday serenade!

Caitlin couldn’t believe her eyes. She was completely caught off guard, and it showed on her face. The whole place came together to celebrate their beloved star’s special day. There was laughter, singing, and lots of delicious cake to go around.

It’s been quite the day for the hooper — Clark also announced her foundation will be teaming up with Scholastic to promote youth literacy.

“Reading and education have always been hugely important in my life,” Clark said.

“I remember picking out the books from the Scholastic flyer and how empowering that was for me as a child, and how motivated I was to read.”

“I want to help kids have the same experience, to develop their reading skills, and open their imaginations to dream big.”
