Travis Kelce Talks About His “Tough” Super Bowl Defeat

Travis Kelce‘s “tough” Super Bowl 2025 loss is still affecting him. On Wednesday’s poignant episode of his “New Heights” podcast, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end and his brother, Jason Kelce, discussed Sunday’s pivotal game.

Travis stated that he accepted the “hard reality”:  “Just wasn’t our day. Couldn’t find a lick of momentum. I’m kicking myself for some of the tiny, tiny decisions I made on the field.”

Travis apologized after describing the blowout game as a “tough pill to swallow.”

“I love my teammates, I love my coaches. Chiefs Kingdom, I’m sorry for how it ended,”

“I have a beautiful life man.

“I wish I had made better decisions early on to help my guy Pat[rick Mahomes] out and help my team find that momentum and that confidence,” . “But you know, I just have to tip my hat to the Eagles.”

Naturally, Taylor Swift, Kelce’s girlfriend, helped him cope with the loss. After the big game, a source informed Page Six that the 35-year-old pop star was “comforting” her athlete lover. Despite not specifically mentioning Swift in the episode, Travis stated:  “I have loved ones, I have the most amazing family in the world that supports me in everything I do and they were all there, cheering me on and hoping for the best on Sunday.”
