Camille Kostek Shares How Hard It Is To Be Just Girlfriend And Not A Wife To Rob Gronkowski

So we all know Rob Gronkowski, the legendary NFL star, right? Well, turns out his girlfriend, Camille Kostek, is spilling some tea on what it’s like to be dating such a famous man.

In a recent interview, Camille opened up about the challenges of just being known as Rob Gronkowski’s girlfriend and not his wife.

Gronk, a four-time Super Bowl winner, has known his model GF for 12 years, but they remain unwed, something she says led NFL wives to look down on her.

“I felt like I was seen as a lesser-than girlfriend because I didn’t have a ring on my finger,” she said in an interview on Kristin Cavallari’s ‘Honestly Cavallari: The Headline Tour’ (H/T US Weekly)

Kostek also threw out a wee factoid, as well as some shade, as she noted that the woman who judged her the most has since gotten a divorce.

“But you want to know what’s so interesting about that? The woman that’s coming to mind [who] judged me the most, she’s divorced,” she added.

Camille met Rob while she was a cheerleader for the New England Patriots. They hooked up and then broke up in 2017 before getting back together.

According to her, she used their time away from each other to work on her passion, which included auditioning for Sports Illustrated Swimsuit.

“There were so many things I was destined to want to do, and then I happened to date an athlete, and it was like, ‘You are a WAG,” she said.

But hey, kudos to Camille for sharing her struggles. It can’t be easy being in the spotlight all the time, especially when you’re just a girlfriend and not a wife. Other WAGs who are wives mostly look down on you.
