Justin Tucker, a veteran kicker, was released by the Baltimore Ravens on Monday, the organization confirmed.
Following a poor 2024 campaign in which he made just 22 of 30 field goal tries, the Ravens decided to cut the five-time All-Pro. His 13-year career’s lowest conversion percentage was 73.3%.
In addition to having a dismal season as a place kicker, Tucker is being accused of sexual harassment by many massage therapists while he was a member of the Ravens. According to a January investigation by The Baltimore Banner, six separate massage therapists shared their “troubling” experiences working with Tucker from 2012 to 2016.
Ravens release a statement for Justin Tucker
In a statement, Ravens general manager and executive vice president Eric DeCosta said:
“Sometimes football decisions are incredibly difficult, and this is one of those instances.”Considering our current roster, we have made the tough decision to release Justin Tucker. Justin created many significant and unforgettable moments in Ravens history. His reliability, focus, drive, resilience and extraordinary talent made him one of the league’s best kickers for over a decade. We are grateful for Justin’s many contributions while playing for the Ravens. We sincerely wish him and his family the very best in this next chapter of their lives.”
Tucker will be replaced on the depth chart by Tyler Loop, a former kicker for Arizona who the Ravens selected with the 186th overall choice in the 2025 NFL Draft.
