Shedeur Sanders Shows Interest in Tom Brady’s Raiders

Shedeur Sanders has expressed his desire to play for the Las Vegas Raiders, and he used the NFL Combine to express his interest in doing so once more, this time by sending a direct message to Tom Brady, the team’s co-owner.

Alongside Miami’s Cam Ward, Sanders is a highly regarded quarterback prospect in the 2025 NFL Draft and might be selected first overall.

Sanders recently visited Indianapolis with the Raiders, who currently own the No. 6 pick, where he made sure to emphasize his relationship with Brady, the seven-time Super Bowl champion and one of the most admired players in football history.

Sanders stated: “Tom Brady, he’s an all-time great,”  “Being able to have that resource, being able to have that person I’m able to talk to and call whenever I’m having questions about the game, he’s able to relate to it, because he did it at the highest level. It’s truly amazing. I’m thankful for that.”

“I met with [the Raiders] here, I met with a lot of teams here,”

“It’s truly exciting, being able to meet Coach [Carroll] and everybody with the organization and staff. So, if they call me and they say, ‘Come on and visit,’ you know I’ll be there.”

Brady and Sanders have a deeper relationship than just a passing acquaintance. Brady and Sanders forged a relationship in 2022 when Brady signed Sanders to a NIL contract, which may make Las Vegas a desirable location for the quarterback.

But the Raiders must make a difficult choice. Given that multiple other teams are anticipated to want a quarterback early in the draft, they might have to move up in order to acquire Sanders. Despite not having direct control over the Raiders’ draft selections, Brady’s legacy and influence in the league make his viewpoint extremely relevant.

Sanders also discussed his meeting with Raiders officials, such as head coach Pete Carroll and general manager John Spytek, demonstrating his passion for the team.
