Sexyy Red sent her fans into a frenzy in late June after announcing she was hitting the road on the ‘Sexyy Red 4 President Tour,’ a state undoubtedly sent into overdrive after they got a load of her high-octane live performance at the 2024 BET Awards.

Despite the perceived buzz, the rumor mill began spinning reports the North American jaunt – much like the ‘In Sexyy We Trust‘ project the trek was designed to support – was suffering from less-than-stellar sales.

So much so, a number of outlets ran stories the femcee was electing to cancel the ‘Sexyy Red 4 President Tour.’

Tired of the hoopla, Sexyy took to social media to outright deny the speculation.

Red hopped on X (formerly known as Twitter) on Monday (July 8) to address murmurs of tour ticket poor sales.

“My fans are buying tickets we’re doin just fine,” the St. Louis rapstress relayed to her 1.4 million followers. “We not cancelling no tour dis cancelling s**t all cap.”

As for the reason for the “hate,” Sexyy suggested some of the bigger names in the live music industry have it out for her.

“Dis how Dey try to do u wen u go wit an independent promoter n the bigger companies try to sabotage u we not cancelling s**t. I did my touring deal with a black promoter black owned company AG Entertainment and now Dey playin dirty paying pages spreading fake news to discourage my fans from buying tickets,” she said.

Guess that puts an end to the speculation.
