Rihanna Teases Trailer for the ‘Smurfs’ Movie

Rihanna is back on the big screen! The global superstar is set to star in the ‘Smurfs’ movie and is firing up the buzz machine.

Not only is RiRi lending her voice to the beloved blue character ‘Smurfette,’ she is also stepping behind the scenes as a producer, alongside Jay Brown, Ty Ty Smith, and Ryan Harris.

The film boasts a stacked cast including James Corden, Nick Offerman, Daniel Levy, Natasha Lyonne, Sandra Oh, Octavia Spencer, and Kurt Russell.

Although this is not an announcement of the extremely highly anticipated album ‘R9’, fans are still hyped to see Rihanna bring her signature charm to the Smurf Village.

The new movie directed by Chris Miller and written by Pam Brady will be released in theatres on July 18, 2025.
