Only 35 acts can boast ownership of at least 30 Gold awards for singles from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) over the organization’s 70-year history.

Before Friday (April 7), less than 15% of the members of that exclusive club were female.

However, thanks to SZA and the ongoing success of her blockbuster sophomore album, 2022’s ‘SOS, the odds are rising in the ladies’ favor.

In addition to the effort itself now sitting at 2x Platinum status for sales of 2 million in the United States, its singles ‘Good Days,’ ‘Kill Bill,’ and ‘Shirt’ were among the standout tracks that saw their certification statuses elevated.

With the updates above, Rowe’s cumulative single sales count has advanced to 46 million in the United States – making her one of the most successful female R&B acts of all time.

Just as noteworthy is her collection of Gold-certified singles. Thanks to the additions above the GRAMMY winner has amassed 30 Gold singles, making her one of only six female artists to claim as many.

In fact, the only female superstars to boast a higher count currently are Carrie Underwood (31), Mariah Carey (34), Rihanna (56), Beyonce (61), and Taylor Swift (70).
