Tom Brady is a man of values, and his father was instrumental in helping him develop them. The greatest of all time chose to pay tribute to his father on Instagram as Father’s Day approaches.
In our culture, Father’s Day is a significant holiday. It is sometimes forgotten because it is only a month after Mother’s Day. As important as it is to honor motherhood and everything that mothers accomplish, it is just as important to honor fathers.
Brady expressed his gratitude to his father for all of the life lessons in an emotional message.
Tom Brady writes about his father
The former NFL quarterback shared a montage of pictures with Brady Sr. along with a touching message. He wrote:
“Happy Father’s Day to my dad, who taught me everything about what it means to be a father. And to all the Dads out there that who are great role models to their kids. My dad has always been my biggest supporter, my best friend, and my number one teacher, not just in sports but in life,”
“The values he passed on to our family – hard work, integrity, compassion, and unconditional love, shaped me in every way. Each day I try to live up to the example he set: to be present and to make sure my kids know how much I love and care about them. I’m grateful for every moment and it’s a pleasure watching these three beautiful angels grow up!”
It was pleasant to read the heartfelt statement, which demonstrates Brady’s close relationship with his father. Because of the example his father established, it also demonstrated his efforts to be a good parent to his kids.
