NY Jets Player Gets “Robbed at Gunpoint”

After being trailed thirty miles to his residence, a New York Jets player is thought to have been the target of an armed robbery. The crime occurred in Morristown, New Jersey, on February 15 and police said the armed individuals stole money and other items from the Jets player.

According to a neighbor, one of the casualties is a member of the New York Jets, according to WNBC-TV.

They have not been identified. It is thought that the culprits left Manhattan and followed their victims for thirty kilometers. Police think it was a targeted incident. The Police responded to multiple 911 calls and stormed onto the property.

Police claim that after allegedly stealing the money and other personal belongings, they left the site. One woman informed WNBC-TV that she witnessed someone stealing something from the garage.

There have been no reports of injuries. The Morristown Department of Public Safety has been contacted by the U.S. Sun for comment. A request for comment from the Jets was not immediately answered, and the player has not responded to the case.

The suspected armed robbery is the most recent in a series of high-profile athlete-related events. Seven individuals who were accused of having ties to a South American criminal organization were charged earlier this week for breaking into Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes‘ residences just hours apart.

The Chiefs’ October game against the New Orleans Saints was the day of the crimes. Designer clothing, an expensive watch, and Kelce’s first Super Bowl jersey were stolen.
