Nick Wright Believes Josh Allen Be MVP by Sunday

Josh Allen appeared to have no competition for the NFL MVP award at the beginning of December. But Allen’s output declined in the second half of the month, which allowed Lamar Jackson to catch up.

The Bills Mafia is worried that Lamar might surpass their quarterback by the conclusion of the season, and reports now suggest that Allen is battling an ailment. But none of that is convincing to Nick Wright.

Josh Allen has credited his fiance Hailee with his form

In the most recent First Things First podcast, Nick voted for Allen to win this year’s NFL MVP instead of Saquon Barkley, who was his first choice.

Nick Wright is confident Josh Allen will cement his MVP status soon

Nick voiced unshakeable trust in Josh’s potential to regain control of the MVP race against the Jets this Sunday, despite acknowledging that the quarterback has struggled recently.

He brought out the fact that the Jets had given up more than 26 points in five straight games prior to their low-scoring matchup with the Rams. Nick therefore viewed the forthcoming game as a chance for Allen and his Bills to score points because the Jets’ defense was much weaker than it was under Saleh.

“I think he’s going to play really well… To the average fan, they still look at the Jets as a good defense even though the Jets haven’t been a good defense really since they fired Saleh and they’ve been a really bad defense. In the game against the Rams, they actually played well, but prior to that, they had allowed 26 or more points in five straight games.”

Nick cited the game’s significance to the Bills as a remedy for the weather when asked if Josh would be hampered by the frigid temperatures. The only MVP winners the Bills have had are O.J. Simpson (1973) and Thurman Thomas (1991).
