Despite asking the linebacker to stop his own program and concentrate on the NFL, Dallas Cowboys player Micah Parsons took a jab at Shannon Sharpe, who is expected to earn $100 million from his next media agreement.
Micah Parsons is still among the NFL’s top defensive players. Since joining the league as a No. 12 overall pick in 2021, the phenom has flourished, earning two First-team All-Pro nominations, three consecutive Pro Bowl berths, and the Defensive Rookie of the Year honor.
Micah Parsons’ and Shannon Sharpe’s Podcast feud
Parsons is now a well-known and vocal person off the field. The 25-year-old can express his opinions on current affairs and NFL narratives on his podcast, “The Edge with Micah Parsons.” Sharpe became enraged with him when he asserted that the Cowboys would win Super Bowl LX.
The fact that Sharpe might make so much money naturally makes Parsons unhappy. He wrote after reposting the Sharpe report:
“‘Stop the podcast Micah’ yea Ite..”
Parsons’ response to Sharpe’s need for more money stems from their disagreement over his prediction for Super Bowl LX. The 56-year-old said, “I take everything he says with a pinch of salt,” dismissing Parsons’ remarks.

Sharpe is a very well-known podcaster who frequently joins Stephen A. Smith on ESPN. Months after departing FOX Sports’ “Undisputed,” he joined The Volume in 2023, but his contract is about to expire.
His podcast “Club Shay Shay” is among the most popular in the sports industry, and his show “Nightcap,” which he co-hosts with Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson, is also quite popular. According to Front Office Sports, Sharpe is therefore pursuing a deal with his whole network that would be worth over $100 million.
