A Los Angeles Rams receiver was robbed last week at a hotel in Los Angeles.

According to TMZ Sports, two gunmen robbed Demarcus Robinson at gunpoint on Friday morning. The wide receiver had more than $100,000 worth of jewelry, including an expensive watch, stolen from him. The crime took place just after midnight, according to law enforcement sources. Robinson is “said to now be doing OK despite the circumstances.”

The two men approached him with guns drawn, forcing him to give up the valuables he had. Police officials are investigating the robbery, but there are no suspects, and no one has been arrested.

Rams Digest has reported that the 29-year-old player is playing his first season with the Rams after playing his first six years with the Kansas City Chiefs. He was selected in the fourth round of the 2016 NFL draft after playing his collegiate career with the University of Florida Florida Gators, where he had 105 receptions for 1,353 years and nine touchdowns. Robinson played for the Chiefs when they won Super Bowl 54 on Feb. 2, 2020, at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida. Robinson signed with the Las Vegas Raiders in March 2022, but before playing a down with the team, he was released in August.

He then played with the Baltimore Ravens last season and had 458 receiving yards, which was good for second place on the team. He signed with the Rams during the offseason and has only appeared in five games on 17 offensive snaps. The team has used him primarily as a special teams player.

Robinson has 193 career receptions throughout nine seasons for 2,137 yards and 16 touchdowns.
