Khalid is sharing his story on his terms.

As reported, the ‘Love Lies’ hitmaker revealed that he was “outed” as gay by a former lover named Hugo D. Almonte.

Now, the star has shared a video addressing the matter as well as a number of the allegations Almonte appears to have leveled against him.

Posting the lengthy clip on social media, the 26-year-old first cleared up speculation that he dabbled in “pink cocaine” use. He said:

“I have never done cocaine a day in my life. I don’t place myself in those scenarios. I’m not in those surroundings. I smoke weed and I drink a little bit. But I have never done cocaine a day in my life.”

Continuing, he added:

“Let’s talk about this escort thing. I have never paid for sex a day in my life. Ever. I have never paid anybody to date me. I have never paid anyone to be in a relationship with me. Ever.”

Addressing the timeframe of his romance with Almonte, Khalid revealed:

“That dude and I dated four years ago. Four to give years ago, yall. The last time I talked to this guy was four years ago. This is all random. I don’t know why he did it or what’s going on with him. Mental health is real. But I haven’t had a conversation – or even seen this dude – in four years.”

Khalid went on to bemoan Almonte’s claims that the singer accused him of breaking into his home.

He also blasted the select online comments that branded him as a “manipulative abuser”

Labeling such verbiage as “triggering,” Khalid shockingly revealed it was he who was abused. He said:

“Regarding the stories of abuse, it’s triggering. It’s triggering…because it’s the other way around and that’s what hurts. That’s what hurts the most.”
