In the hour that followed the reading of the verdict, Marvel officially terminated its relationship with the actor – whose character Kang the Conqueror was set to be a core figure in future films.

Moments ago, the 34-year-old’s attorney, Priya Chaudhry, appeared to intimate what his plans are moving forward:

A statement read:

“[Jonathan] looks forward to fully clearing his name.

Mr. Majors is grateful to God, his family, his friends, and his fans for their love and support during these harrowing eight months.”

Pending a potential appeal, sentencing is set for February 6. Majors faces up to a year in jail.
