Jamie Foxx Spotted For First Time - At Topgolf & On Boat Ride - Since Hospitalization, But Skepticism Lingers

Jamie Foxx has been spotted publicly for the first time since he was hospitalized back in April. And he's living his best life on a boat and swinging it up at Topgolf. He also took to Twitter for the first time in a long time. However, everyone isn’t convinced it's him. Find out why inside… It appears Jamie Foxx’s road to recovery is sailing smoothly. Nearly two months after his daughter shared that the actor/comedian/singer was out of the hospital and on the mend, the 55-year-old was spotted living his best life cruising on a boat on the Chicago River on July 9. And TMZ nabbed the footage.   In the clip, the RAY actor was all smiles as he glided by on his boat as fans cheered him on from another boat. Being the cool cat he is, Jamie waved back and smiled. In a second video, Jamie is seen onboard the boat and interacting with fans, which you can check out here. The Oscar winning actor was also seen having fun at Topgolf in Illinois: Jamie was spotted at Topgolf in Naperville, Illinois on a Saturday night, and his swing was straight fire, according to eyewitnesses. A source told TMZ Jamie's swing was so good that he outshined his competitors on the course and emerged victorious, clinching that well-deserved win. According to the eyewitness, there was no sign of any difficulties as Jamie strolled around, moving with ease and without any hint of a limp. His arm movements were on point too, demonstrating his progress. In the words of the eyewitness, "He was walking regular, not dragging his leg. His arm movement were definitely good," adding, "He was just regular Jamie." The Topgolf location is reportedly near the rehab facility where Jamie's been recovering from his medical emergency. He's been at the facility since late April. For the first time since his hospitalization, Jamie took to Twitter to share a tweet, which reads, "Boat life [fox emoji] Celebrating summer with @brownsugarbbn Stay blessed!"   Brown Sugar Bourbon (@brownsugarbbn) is the star’s liquor brand. He didn’t specify if he was actually consuming any of his spirits. Everyone isn’t convinced the man seen on the boat waving at fans is actually him. Some even believe he has been cloned. See the tweets below: Y'all know folks think everybody is AI or a clone. This public appearance serves as a triumphant milestone, marking Jamie's long-awaited return to the spotlight after his hospitalization for a medical emergency back in April. The spotting comes after conflicting reports about his current state following his medical emergency. Last week, an alleged source revealed the actor was still not feeling like his usual self, despite receiving top-notch care and putting in significant efforts to regain his health. That health update came on the heels of John Boyega telling the public that Jamie is “doing good.” During the Los Angeles premiere of their film, They Cloned Tyrone, John, Jamie’s co-star, provided an update on the actor's well-being, sharing that he had recently engaged in a phone conversation with the “Beat Shazam” host. “He finally picked up the phone. Thank you, bro,” John said. “He's doing well. And then, you know, we just giving him the privacy, and we can't wait for his return.” In a recent interview with “EXTRA,” John was asked how Jamie is doing, and he responded, “We actually spoke yesterday. He cool. He all good, it’s all good.” On April 12, Jamie’s daughter, Corinne Foxx, 29, took to Instagram to inform fans that her father had been hospitalized but was now in the process of recovery. The incident occurred the previous day while he was filming the Netflix movie Back in Action alongside Cameron Diaz. On May 3, Jamie himself (or someone in his camp) took to his Instagram page, expressing gratitude for the overwhelming love and support he received during his health journey. The message from Jamie read, "Appreciate all the love!!! Feeling blessed." To address the swirling rumors about Jamie’s health, Corinne released a second statement on her Instagram Story on May 12. She clarified that her father had been out of the hospital for weeks and was in the recuperation phase. In fact, she even shared a report that contradicted the rumors of a deteriorating condition, stating that the family was preparing for the worst. Corinne further added that her dad was active and playing pickleball the day before, expressing gratitude for the prayers and support they had received. Additionally, she teased an exciting work announcement that would be made the following week. Since then, Jamie’s family has not provided any further updates regarding his recovery. We pray he makes a full recovery!   EXTRAS: 1. Travis Scott’s ‘Utopia’ concert, set for July 28, has sold out all premium and VIP tickets 15 minutes after the prices were released.
