Jake Paul Trolls Gervonta Davis After the Latter’s “Beat the Brakes” Comments

After defeating Mike Tyson in their eagerly anticipated boxing bout in Texas on Friday night (November 15), Jake Paul is riding high. Many individuals continue to respond to the showdown, both positively and negatively, both inside and outside of the combat sports community.

Superstar lightweight Gervonta Davis claimed that he would “beat the brakes” off of Paul if they ever walked into the ring together, among other challenges and observations about the true abilities of both boxers.

The content creator-turned-fighter chuckled slightly when a reporter questioned him about it, and his colleague suggested that Davis needs Paul—likely for attention, cash, prestige, or a genuine challenge.

In response to Gervonta Davis’ boasting, Jake Paul said: “Yeah, I mean, I’d be down,”. “Let’s run it. Like, I’d be super, super down. Is there a height limit in boxing? […] Yeah, [Conor McGregor] will never do that, though,” . “He knows. He knows way, way, way better than that. He’s not his own boss.” “One, he’s under contract. And two, he won’t do it,” 

Given all of this, we can assume that Jake Paul is ecstatic after disproving a lot of his detractors. Several people wagered against him during his bout with Mike Tyson, including Drake, who lost a wager that cost him $355K. The Ohio native will undoubtedly talk trash to everyone before deciding on his next course of action since, as they say, “success is the best revenge.”
