The song is just one of Swift’s 263 career Hot 100 entries – the most among women – and was originally a deep cut on her ‘Lover’ album before it was released as a single in 2023 due to high demand from fans and the public.

After it hit #1, the song became the first chart-topper from ‘Lover.’ The previous singles ‘ME’ and ‘You Need To Calm Down’ only peaked at #2.
