Fans Speculate Karmelo Anthony Won’t Get A Fair Trial For Fatally Stabbing Austin Metcalf

Fans are speculating that Karmelo Anthony won’t get a fair trial for fatally stabbing Austin Metcalf. I mean, social media is blowing up with all sorts of theories and opinions on this one.

We can’t jump to conclusions just yet. We live in a world with a justice system that’s supposed to be fair and impartial. Sure, there have been cases in the past where people have been given preferential treatment because of their race, but that doesn’t mean it’s happening here. It’s important to let the legal process play out and let the facts come to light before passing judgment.

One X account has pointed out how Karmelo Anthony might not get a fair shot in a trial just based on the city where he allegedly committed the murder.

“There is no way that Karmelo Anthony (Black) will receive a fair trial in FRISCO, TEXAS — for self defense which caused the death of Austin Metcalf(white),” the page said.

“As of 2023, the Black or African American population in Frisco, Texas, is approximately 8.53% of the total population, which translates to about 17.9k individuals.”

Karmelo is charged with murder in the fatal stabbing of Austin at a track meet.

He allegedly confessed to the killing.

One officer who responded to the scene said Anthony told him unprompted, without being asked any questions about the incident, “I was protecting myself.”

When the officer advised another responding officer that he had “the alleged suspect,” Anthony reportedly responded, “I’m not alleged; I did it.”

What happened between Karmelo and Austin was unfortunate; a life was lost, but we should let the justice system do its job and give both sides’ legal representation a fair chance to be heard. So for now, let’s hold off on the speculation and give the legal process a chance to work.
