Dak Prescott Drops a Shocking 50 Pounds; Jokingly Calls Himself “Slimothy”

Dak Prescott is in news these days for all the right reasons.  Given the team, that’s what a lot of Dallas Cowboys and NFL supporters think, anyway. Before the previous season, the quarterback received a huge 4-year, $240 million contract extension with $231 million guaranteed for a team that missed the playoffs.

Even worse, their bitter rivals, the Philadelphia Eagles of the NFC East, defeated them handily in the Super Bowl, and the Washington Commanders defeated them with rookie quarterback prodigy Jayden Daniels. Heck, there is even talk that Joe Milton, the fresh and intriguing backup, could unseat Prescott.

Prescott is making a spectacular 50-pound weight loss recovery this offseason after suffering a season-ending hamstring injury.

Taking inspiration from Eagles wide receiver Devonta Smith’s flawless “Slim Reaper” moniker, Haley Cavinder’s boyfriend wrote on his Instagram Stories in all caps, “SLIM REAPER [Dak Prescott’s IG handle] DOWN 50LB!” and shared it by Cowboys tight end Jake Ferguson. “APPEARING LIKE A 4-YEAR-OLD”

Prescott used his own moniker when reposting it. No. 4 wrote, “Slimothy, that’s me,” using an emoji of a dying chuckle.

Cowboys supporters haven’t had much to cheer about lately, so perhaps the weight loss will put the former Mississippi State quarterback back to his youthful glory when he suddenly swept the league and pushed out the adored Tony Romo, essentially shoving him into the CBS Sports NFL booth.

After giving birth to baby MJ last year, the 31-year-old is leading a happy life off the field as he is expecting his second daughter with fiancée Sarah Jane Ramos.

Prescott is under a great deal of strain. Fortunately, he will be carrying less burden now. literally.
