Clay Travis Dares Angel Reese to a $100K Basketball Contest

An outrageous request has been made for Chicago Sky player Angel Reese to play one-on-one basketball against Clay Travis, the creator of OutKick and a vocal sports analyst.

By challenging the WNBA player to a high-stakes, one-on-one basketball game with $100,000 on the line, Travis has once again placed himself at the heart of a gender issue in sports.

In a social media post, Travis offered Reese $100,000 if she could defeat him in a head-to-head match. The catch? Reese will have to publicly admit a contentious assertion if he prevails.

In his post, Travis stated: “I’ll put up $100k. You win, I’ll donate $100k to the WNBA or any charity you want. I win, you have to post a video saying men are better at sports than women,”

Travis was confident in his chances despite having less athletic experience than Reese, who was an NCAA champion and professional basketball player.

He even made a joke about his son’s basketball team in the eighth grade taking care of his practice before the game. Reese’s recent performance in a WNBA game, in which she struggled with her shooting efficiency, prompted the bold proposition.
