‘If I Could Turn Back Time’ hitmaker Cher had time Sunday (November 6) to clap back at detractors weighing in on her relationship.

The 76-year-old Pop icon went public recently with her new 36-year-old boyfriend, Amber Rose‘s ex-beau/music executive Alexander “AE” Edwards, after the two were photographed holding hands in West Hollywood.

Since then comments have flooded the actress-singer’s social media timelines with commenters pointing out everything from the lovebirds’ 40-year age difference to her penchant of dating younger guys over the years.

Having had enough of the hoopla, Cher took to Twitter to offer her own comment in response to the naysayers.

The ‘I Found Someone’ singer found herself on the receiving end of mixed criticism on Twitter late Saturday (November 5) after posting a photo of AE alongside a heart emoji.

While some cheered on the union, others slammed the legend for dating a man so many years her junior.

“He looks like a convict,” one user wrote.  Another said: “He doesn’t love you and you have nothing in common. He’s using you to increase his own financial situation.” 

As the remarks continued to roll in, the EMMY, GRAMMY, and Academy Award winning diva delivered a word for all those sharing a negative response about her new boo.
