Billboard: Ciara’s ‘How We Roll’ Rolls Past ‘Ride,’ ‘Body Party,’ & ‘I Bet’ To Become One of Her Longest-Charting R&B Hits EVER

Ciara‘s latest hit, ‘How We Roll,’ has rolled to yet another personal milestone thanks to enduring love from R&B radio.

Details inside.

Like we previously reported, the Chris Brown-assisted ‘Roll’ – despite being greeted with a modest opening on R&B charts in August 2023 upon its release – has quietly become the diva’s biggest songs in a decade.

As if becoming her 15th top 10 hit on the Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay and Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay charts respectively wasn’t enough to boast, the song Deli Banger-produced bop enjoyed its 21st week of print on the former tally this week.

The result of the continued tenancy is it sliding past the respective 20-week stays of ‘Like You (with Bow Wow),’ ‘Get Up (with Chamillionaire), ‘I Bet,’ and ‘Ride’ to become her eighth longest-charting song on the hitlist.

Only ‘Body Party,’ ‘Goodies,’ ‘1,2 Step,’ ‘Oh’ ‘Lose Control,’ ‘So What,’ and ‘Promise’ have had longer runs on Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay.

Over on the Rhythmic Airplay chart, ‘Roll’ – which is celebrating its 21st week of print there as well – rides past the overall stays of fan favorites like ‘Body Party,’ ‘Like a Boy,’ ‘Promise,’ and others.

On this hitlist, only ‘Goodies,’ ‘1,2 Step,’ ‘Oh,’ ‘Lose Control,’ ‘So What,’ and ‘Get Up’ can boast longer visits.

For context, both the Mainstream R&B and Rhythmic Airplay tallies rank the most-played R&B and Hip-Hop songs played on Urban and Urban Adult radio stations in the United States.
