Bill Belichick And His Strange Jordan Hudson’s Email Request

A Freedom of Information Act request turned up an email in which Bill Belichick asked a UNC communications staffer to add his 23-year-old girlfriend to emails sent to him, suggesting that Jordan Hudson may be more aware of Bill Belichick’s activities in North Carolina than previously thought.

After Belichick joined the program, writers from Axios and The Assembly were collaborating on a piece on the University of North Carolina’s budget hike when the emails were discovered.

According to an email that reporter Matt Hartman of The Assembly posted on social media, Belichick addressed a request to Robbi Pickeral Evans, Senior Associate Athletic Director for External Affairs and Strategic Communications.

According to the subject line, the email seemed to be about football-related social media posts for December 16.

Belichick penned: “Robbi, Thank you for the e-mail,”. “I am including Jordon on this email so she can also keep up with our postings. Can you include her on anything you send to me? Thank you. BB.” 

In a second article, Hartman claimed that other emails revealed Hudson was copied on messages about accepting or declining requests for interviews.

Since Belichick and Hudson’s relationship became public in June, it has garnered a lot of media attention. Although the 49-year age difference has undoubtedly drawn attention, Page Six has been informed by people close to the couple that Belichick and Hudson have “definitely discussed marriage” and that their love is genuine.

The emails support a story last month by Pablo Torre that said Hudson was the coach’s “de facto agent.”
