It’s bittersweet news for fans of ‘Bel-Air.’

For, the reimagined take on ‘The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air’ has been renewed for a fourth and final season on Peacock.

The hit series, which is produced by Will Smith, was picked up for a two-season commitment in 2020. Since then, it has thrived as one of the anchoring dramas on the streamer.

A testament to the power of virality,

the concept for the show was generated by Morgan Cooper (executive producer), who wrote and directed the four-minute theoretical trailer. Debuting the video on social media in March 2019, it quickly went viral. It currently sits at almost 8 million views on YouTube. 

Led by Jabari Banks, ‘Bel-Air’ stars Adrian Holmes, Cassandra Freeman, Olly Sholotan, Coco Jones, Akira Akbar, Jimmy Akingbola, Jordan L. Jones, and Simone Joy Jones.

Guests have included Marlon Wayans and original ‘Fresh Prince’ actors Joseph Marcell (Geoffrey Butler) and Tatyana Ali.
