After winning the series, Anthony Edwards is loving life. The Minnesota Timberwolves advanced to the NBA playoffs’ second round, and Anthony Edwards made sure to celebrate the team’s 4-1 series victory over the Lakers by taking a victory lap around the city of Los Angeles!

Shortly after the Wolves defeated the Lakers 103-96, sending LeBron James, Luka Doncic, and the rest of the team to Cancun, Edwards went for a walk outside Crypto.com Arena. The 23-year-old didn’t hesitate to engage with distraught supporters who were lamenting the loss, saying:

“How y’all gonna be f***ing with me, I just sent y’all n****s home!”

“They said ‘Lakers in 5,’ and when we was up 3-1, they said ‘Lakers in 7.’ Go to hell today,” “Good guys don’t die in this movie — Morris Chestnut died in this movie.”

A credits-style montage that showcased all the skeptics on social media before to the series was also made by his squad’s social media crew, who were enjoying the event.

LeBron was also unable to avoid their trolling. Before switching to Minnesota’s star guard, the Wolves played a scene from the “Starting Five” Netflix series in which James stated that he didn’t think anyone was a better fit for the time being than he was.

As the Warriors attempt to defeat the Rockets in Game 6 on Friday, Edwards and the rest of the team will now have a few days to unwind before learning who their next opponents will be.
