The Boston Celtics, led by Jayson Tatum, defeated the Orlando Magic 103-86 on Sunday to get off to a fast start in their first-round series.
Even if the victory came easily, Tatum wasn’t, especially when he was hit hard by Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Wendell Carter Jr. in the middle of the fourth quarter. Tatum fell to the ground with considerable weight on his wrist as a result of the impact.
Following a review, Caldwell-Pope was given a flagrant foul.

It seems Orlando has avoided such a terrible destiny, but it’s comforting to know that Tatum’s mother was prepared to step in for anyone if needed. That’s because we haven’t heard anything from the Magic locker room.
After the game, Tatum told the reporters that his wrist was “alright” and that his X-ray results were negative.
