WOMP! Dave Chappelle Brings Elon Musk Out During Comedy Show, And The Audience Relentlessly Boos Him + Chris Rock Calls Will Smith A 'B****'
Elon Musk quickly learned he’s not a fan favorite in real life. Comedian Dave Chapelle brought the Twitter honcho out on stage during his comedy show over the weekend, and he was drowned in boos from the audience every time he tried to speak. Womp. Also, Chris Rock performed and called Will Smith a "b****" during his set. Watch Elon get booed and more inside… Although Elon Musk is the world’s richest person, he’s definitely not the most liked. And he found that out over the weekend. Yesterday, comedians Dave Chappelle and Chris Rock were scheduled to perform at the Chase Center, which holds 18,000 people, in San Francisco, CA. Towards the end of Dave's set, he decided to surprise his fans with a special guest: Tesla CEO Elon Musk. Needless to say, the audience was NOT feeling it. “Ladies and gentlemen, make some noise for the richest man in the world,” Dave told the audience as Elon came out on stage. While he was met with some cheers, a large number of audience members yelled out loud boos. ”You weren’t expecting this, were you?” Elon asked Dave in response to the boos. “It sounds like some of those people you fired are in the audience,” Dave said in reference to mass layoffs at Twitter after he purchased the social media company. Several communications staffers were laid off in a move to cut roughly half its workforce. The public dragging didn’t stop. Every time Elon tried to utter a word, a large wave of boos filled the arena. He literally couldn't say anything because the crowd booed for over 10 minutes. “All these people that are booing, I’m just pointing out the obvious — they have terrible seats in the stadium,” Dave said. The person who originally uploaded the video to Twitter either had their account suspended or they voluntarily took their account down because the account “no longer exists.” However, the clip was recorded before it disappeared. He just stood there looking confused. ”Was at the Dave Chapelle show at SF tonight and who comes on but Elon Musk!,” a Twitter user wrote. “A good 80% of the stadium boos. 18k people. and he withers. Technically, it was 90% cheers & 10% boos (except during quiet periods), but, still, that’s a lot of boos, which is a first for me in real life (frequent on Twitter). Elon Musk has been ruffling feathers since purchasing Twitter, like reinstating former president Donald Trump’s account and allowing the n-word to be used freely on the app. As for his most recent criticism, Elon posted a tweet aimed at Dr. Anthony Fauci, the outgoing U.S. chief medical advisor who was the face of the White House’s response to COVID-19. SMH! Also... Chris Rock called Will Smith a "b*tch" during his set in reference to the infamous Oscars slap earlier this year. According to our source, the comedian said everyone had something to say about Will's wife Jada Pinkett-Smith's "entanglement" with singer August Alsina. He mentioned that 50 Cent called Will out about the "entanglement" and that Will didn't slap Fif—he slapped the smallest person. He questioned why Will didn't have that same energy for 50 Cent. Went to the Chris Rock Dave Chappelle show in SF. Speechless. At the end Dave says we should be united, learn from one another, listen to each other then introduced "the richest & most hated man" Elon Musk. Some applause & boos + 2 fights.
