Mike Vrabel’s Reaction to Stefon Diggs’ Viral Pink Powder Video

The NFL isn’t prepared to comment on Stefon Diggs, the standout wide receiver for the New England Patriots, who made headlines this week for the wrong reasons. Still.

A video of Stefon Diggs having a party on a boat with three ladies during Memorial Day weekend went viral earlier this week. Diggs was observed in possession of an unknown pink drug, which some speculated might be cocaine.

Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk contacted the NFL for a statement. The league’s Chief Spokesperson, Brian McCarthy, emailed Florio to inform him that they would “decline comment” on the video.

Mike Vrabel, the head coach of the Patriots, was questioned by a reporter on Wednesday regarding the video.

Making “great decisions on and off the field” is crucial, according to Vrabel. Before informing the media scrum that Diggs was missing from OTAs, he refused to name any conversations he had with Diggs.

Stefon Diggs agreed to a three-year contract with the Patriots that included $26 million in guarantees and a maximum of $69 million in free agency. Given his age (32 in November), his well-documented attitude issues (which led to his trade to the Houston Texans by the Buffalo Bills), and the fact that he was recovering from a season-ending ACL rupture, the contract first appeared questionable.

During their four years together, Diggs, a six-time 1,000-yard receiver, assisted Josh Allen in becoming a superstar.
