We all know Cristiano Ronaldo, the legendary football player. But did you know that he’s waiting for the perfect ‘click’ before he ties the knot with his longtime girlfriend, Georgina Rodríguez?

Apparently, Ronaldo wants everything to be just right before he takes the plunge into married life. And who can blame him? I mean, the soccer star is used to perfection on the field, so why not in his personal life too?

According to Ronaldo, he is patiently waiting for that special moment when everything falls into place and it just feels right. It’s like he’s waiting for the stars to align and for that magical ‘click’ to happen.

In an interview for her Netflix reality show I Am Georgina, the model told how she has been teased by friends over when she will get married.

She said: ‘They’re always joking about the wedding. “When is the wedding?” Since Jennifer Lopez’s song “The Ring Or When” came out, they started singing it to me. And well, this is not up to me.’

But Ronaldo insisted he will marry her when they get “that click”, meaning when the timing is right and everything in their lives has fallen into place.

He said: ‘I always tell her, “when we get that click.” Like everything with our life, and she knows what I’m talking about.

‘It could be in a year or it could be in six months or it could be in a month. I’m 1000% sure that it’ll happen.’

It comes after the footballer paid tribute to his partner on her birthday in the most Ronaldo way possible – by sharing a photo of them working out in the gym together.

‘For the mother, partner, friend, my wife… happy birthday, love,’ he wrote on Instagram.

‘Your light illuminates us and your love infects us,’ he added, alongside a heart emoji.

So, let’s all just sit back and wait for that ‘click’ that will bring Ronaldo and Rodríguez down the aisle. Who knows when it’ll happen, but I’m sure it’ll be a fairytale wedding fit for a king!
