VIDEO: Carson Beck Says He Doesn’t Watch Football Because It’s Not Fun For Him

So, the Georgia star Carson Beck confessed that he’s not into watching football when he’s not on the field. He told reporters that it just stresses him out because he can’t switch off that part of his brain that’s always analyzing the game. And honestly, I can’t blame him. Sometimes, you just want to kick back and enjoy the game without dissecting every play and strategy.

It’s interesting to note that even though Beck is going up against the Texas Longhorns in the SEC championship game, he hasn’t bothered watching any of their games before the matchup. He’s not completely slacking off. He’s still going to watch a film and properly prepare for the game.

I guess for Beck, football is all about being in the moment and playing the game. Watching it just takes away the fun and adds unnecessary stress. So, he’s not one to sit on the couch with a bag of chips, yelling at the TV screen. And honestly, I can respect that.
