The Numbers Are In! Pink’s ‘Summer Carnival’ Passes Beyonce’s ‘Renaissance’ to Become the Second HIGHEST-GROSSING Female Tour of All Time

Industry analysts and music lovers alike may have been fixated on the jaw-dropping stats attached to Taylor Swift‘s ‘Eras Tour‘ as it became the first tour in history to generate over $2 billion in ticket sales, but the final figures attached to her runner-up (among women) on the all-time list is nothing to shake a stick at!

Primarily designed to promote her last album, 2023’s ‘Trustfall,’ Pop diva P!nk (born Alecia Moore) brought her globe-trotting ‘Summer Carnival Tour‘ to a close at the end of November – a stadium and arena jaunt that spanned five legs across three continents across 2023-24.

Altogether, she raked in a whopping $693.8 million in revenue generated from approximately 4.8 million tickets sold over 128 shows – a sum that narrowly places her above Beyonce‘s ‘Renaissance Tour‘ ($579.8 million across 56 shows) in history books.

And while P!nk has secured the #2 spot on the all-time highest-grossing tours among women list, she’s such a touring force that her name appears multiple times on that tally as her 2018 ‘Beautiful Trauma World Tour’ raked in a whopping $400 million by the time its final curtain descended.

Among all acts on the all-time list, Moore’s ‘Carnival Tour’ is only bested by Swift’s ‘Eras Tour’ ($2 billion), Coldplay‘s ‘Music of the Spheres Tour’ ($1.1 billion), Elton John‘s ‘Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour’ ($939 million), Ed Sheeran‘s ‘Divide Tour’ ($776 million), Bruce Springsteen‘s 2023-25 tour ($630 million), and Harry Styles‘Love On Tour’ ($617 million).

It should be noted none of the figures above account for inflation.

Toasting the end of the ‘Carnival Tour,’ the GRAMMY-winning songstress took to social media to deliver a heartfelt farewell to the road…for now.

“131 shows. 98 cities. 15 countries. 4 million people. A lifetime of memories. This show tested me in every way; my body, mind, and soul. It’s the most physically, mentally and spiritually ambitious show I’ve ever put on. It’s been really, really hard, but every moment has been worth it for the memories we’ve created together. I know I say thank you a lot, but thank you will never be enough. Your energy, love, commitment and passion are why we do this every night. Why I leave it all out there, every time. You have created a safe space with me where we can all belong. A world where we can put down our armor and our walls and just be. Breathe. Scream. Cry. Laugh. Feel. Celebrate. Mourn. Rage,” she said on Facebook at the time. “Thank you to the old and new faces. Watching you sing with me every night sets my soul on fire. I hope I’ve done the same for you. Thank you to everyone who spent their nights with us; I’m sorry if I couldn’t make it to you this time. Thank you to my family, my team, my dancers, my band and my crew. Thank you for creating this incredible world with me. I can’t believe what we’ve done. I can’t believe it’s over. Until we meet again.”
