Stephen A. Smith Blasts His Nephew for Weather Reporting

Almost soon after coming up with a novel idea for his show, Stephen A. Smith hated it. The seasoned journalist, who was not quite satisfied with his nephew’s abilities, allowed him to do some weather reporting on The Stephen A. Smith Show.

Josh did a poor job of reporting the weather during the entertaining segment, but he also managed to offend Buffalo residents by saying, “It’s going to be 22 degrees in Buffalo.” Do residents choose to live here?

His nephew’s casual remark took aback Smith and initially sat dumbfounded, before reprimanding him: “Don’t be rude to people at Buffalo. Lot of people don’t mind the cold. What’s the weather like in New York right now?”

The fun didn’t end there. Josh said: “This is the weather for the rest of the week in Buffalo. We are gonna see how depressing it is..4 degrees on Tuesday. What are you gonna do with 4 degrees?” . Smith quickly responded:  “What does that have to do with Sunday Night Football game, Josh?”

Josh offered a hilarious explanation for why his reporting on Tuesday was relevant to the Ravens vs. Bills game, even though Smith didn’t think the temperature on Tuesday had anything to do with Sunday’s game.

In his own words, “This is Buffalo. This is what they have to do after the L.”

Orchard Park is snowing in advance of the Bills vs. Ravens game. According to the Weather Channel, it would reach a high of 20 degrees during the day near Highmark Stadium before falling to 8 degrees that evening. The temperature is predicted to feel more like -3 degrees for kickoff, which is around 6:30 p.m.
