Ne-Yo says he’s single and ready to mingle! His declaration of being happily single comes two weeks after he was seen getting freaky in the strip club with his mistress baby mama Sade. TMZ photogs caught up with the Grammy-winner at LAX where he spilled the beans on what’s life like after divorcing his wife, Crystal Smith. Now that the divorce is finalized, the “So Sick” singer says he’s out in these streets. He’s embracing the freedom that comes with being unattached, and he's enjoying the perks of having plenty of dating options - including his DMs being flooded with potential girlfriends. But what's even more surprising is that the R&B crooner is open to dating fans, and he thinks that having someone "normal" by his side can be a real plus. “I’m dating now,” he said. “I don’t give a damn. I’m enjoying the single life.” Of course, he also sees the benefits of dating someone famous, as they understand the pressure that comes with being in the spotlight. The couple tied the knot in February 2016. Ne-Yo, 43, will pay his ex-wife, Crystal Renay, 36, a lump sum payment of $1.6 million to equalize their real estate holdings and $20,000 for moving costs. Crystal, who shares three children with her ex-husband, will continue to reside in one of their four Georgia homes. The R&B crooner agreed to keep their 2022 Bentley Bentayga and will write Crystal a $150,000 check to purchase a new vehicle, according to reports. The “Mad” singer will also cover any education-related costs for their three children and will have to cough up $12,000 per month in child support. They agreed to joint custody of the children. In 2021, the ex-couple welcomed a girl, Isabella, their third child. Shaffer Jr., their first son, was born in 2016, and Roman, their second son, was born in 2018.
