During a recent episode of ‘Cocktails with Queens,’ LisaRaye expressed her opinion on the matter, arguing that Chris Brown is often unfairly blamed for incidents because of his past actions, regardless of whether or not he was responsible for them. She went on to explain how people's past actions can unfairly stigmatize them, and that it's not fair to automatically assume that someone is responsible for something just because of their reputation. “Why he gotta chill? Why he gotta chill?,” LisaRaye asked. “What if he felt just like what he said? ‘F*ck her!’ What if he felt like that? And he was saying that to his friend?” “What I don’t like about it is that every time his name is brought up that he always gets automatically blamed because he is that way. We know him to be that, so it gotta be him.’ That’s what I don’t like — when people have that kind of stigma because I got that…it’s quick for you to think that, ‘Oh, LisaRaye would have did that’ or ‘LisaRaye said that,’ and I don’t like that because that very next time it could have been very different, but you blame me because of my past,” she said. However, her co-host Claudia Jordan disagreed, stating that Breezy has a history of being involved in similar altercations and that it is up to him to "change the narrative" and avoid such situations in the future.
