Lauryn Hill has had enough!

Despite developing quite the reputation for being extremely tardy to her own shows over the years (or canceling at the last minute), Hill continues to be a touring force thanks to her Diamond-certified debut solo album, 1998’s ‘Miseducation,’ and hits she collected prior to that with Fugees.

In celebration of the timeless LP’s 25th anniversary, Lauryn took to press earlier this year to announce she would be going on a global tour in 2023.

Buzz for the September-launched jaunt quickly went south as reports flooded in the R&B/Hip-Hop diva – when not axing appearances all together – was habitually late for performances, citing health issues as the main reason.

As the negative attention continues to plague the outing, she finally addressed the hoopla in a stinging reprimand to critics.

Hop inside to see what she said.

During the Los Angeles stop of the “Miseducation of Lauryn Hill 25th Anniversary Tour” on Saturday night (November 4), the GRAMMY-winning songstress kept it all the way real about those who have criticized her for excessive tardiness.

“People say that she’s late,” Lauryn started in the fan-captured clip. “’She’s late”; so what? Yo, y’all lucky I make it on this stage every night!”

Later in the rant, Hill also dished on why she’s still touring off ‘Miseducation’ nearly three decades later instead of promoting new music.

“When the album sold so many records and no one showed up and said ‘hey, would you like to make another?’ So I went around the world and I played the same album over and over and over and over again,” she said.

The commentary comes as the latest headline-grabbing incident from the tour which has been plagued with mixed reviews for the singer’s lateness, cancellations, and sometimes less-than-stellar vocal performances she says are the result of “serious case of vocal strain/injury.”
