The Rams failed to qualify for another NFC Championship even though they easily defeated the Vikings in the wild card. In a hotly contested game, they were defeated by the Eagles on the road.

They had a chance to win in the end, but Philly’s defense held strong and clutch Matthew Stafford was unable to deliver. Why, therefore, were Stafford and the Rams unable to achieve a successful outcome? Well, the icy Lincoln Field is to blame, according to Kelly Stafford.

“I do believe if there was no snow in that game, we would have won that game. That is why home-field advantage is a thing in the playoffs. That is why Philly wants to play at home because they know how to do the element well and things like that.”

The Los Angeles team struggled to overcome the Eagles’ advantage due to the snow. Baltimore suffered in the snow during another Ravens vs. Bills divisional-round game.

They struggled to keep the ball and made mistakes and drops. The snow did not deter Buffalo players, however. There’s a reason it’s called a “home advantage.”
