Joe Burrow Claims”Lack of Privacy” Is “difficult…to Deal With”

In addition to Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes, Joe Burrow is the most recent NFL player to have a house invasion. On Monday, while Burrow was in Dallas playing the Cowboys, his house was broken into. A memo about the incidents was just released by the NFL.

On Wednesday, Burrow spoke briefly about the event and said it adds to the burden of having his whereabouts known all the time. He said :

“So obviously everybody has heard what has happened. I feel like my privacy has been violated in more ways than one. And way more is already out there than I would want out there and that I care to share, so that’s all I got to say about that,”.

“We live a public life, and one of my least favorite parts of that is the lack of privacy. And that has been difficult for me to deal with my entire career. Still learning. But I understand it’s the life that we choose. Doesn’t make it any easier to deal with.”

After Joe Burrow incident NFL warns players

After properties thought to be connected to international organized crime were struck last month, the league advised players to remain extremely vigilant.

According to a report by NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero last month, the FBI is looking into the crime spree, “which is believed to be tied to a South American crime syndicate.”

The article claims that the house of at least one other NFL player was broken into. The league also advised players to install home security systems and take other preventative measures in the memo. Additionally, they were advised against sharing pictures of pricey goods or real-time updates about their whereabouts on social media.
